A bit about us
Gerd is originally from Norway’s capital, Oslo, while Helge is from Drammen in southern Norway. When we bought Steirud in 1994, we made a major change of direction, and we have not regretted it for a second! We have spent a lot of time and energy on the restoration work, and we want to share the result, nature and farm with visitors.

We are both keen small game hunters. Gerd also hunts moose. Other farm residents include doves, two fiord horses and three German wire-haired pointers, who all require daily care.
