Our guests can ride fiord horses

Horseback riding
We have two fiord horses on the farm, which our guests can ride. there are good places to ride, either along the road or in the countryside behind the farm.

Hiking
Steirud Gård has an idyllic natural setting and is an ideal base for hiking. The forest behind the farm is quite dense, but we have marked a hiking trail up the hillside.

Bardu Municipal Council has also prepared a map with description on 10 hikes in the municipality.

Steilia Alpine Skiing Centre
Steilia Alpine Skiing Centre is located just 1 km from the farm. The ski track is 1260 m long and has a fall of almost 300 m. The centre features t-bars lifts, ski hire and heated cafeteria open during the centre’s opening hours.
